Raven: Research & Development

Raven have invested heavily in both the personnel and also the technological capabilities of Raven's Research & Development Department. This has seen the department increase from 4 members of staff to 11 in the space of 12 months. The department is headed by Mr. Derek Grice who operates as the Departmental Director.

The high level of technological capability ensures Raven continuously win business contracts throughout the world. This has been achieved through the ability to design 'bespoke' antennas to suit our customers complete requirements.

Our state of the art 'in house' research and development department, incorporating 3D solid modeling and CAD capabilities, provides the resources required to design, develop and test our products. Quality and testing procedures are continually updated. It is possible for us to produce fully operational, hand-made prototypes for functional and aesthetic review.

The images on the left depict the technology available to Raven to predetermine the performance of the antenna even before it has been manufactured. This cost effective and time efficient style of operation has been fundamental to ensure Raven provide state of the art concepts to the major companies throughout the Global Satellite Industry.
